Transport-Able Logistics Limited Terms & Conditions

Please note that all quotes and subsequent confirmed undertakings of works are subject to availability of dates. If agreed dates change or become unavailable then all work is subject to the discretion of Transport-Able Logistics Limited.

Agreement of a quote in writing (including email, text and WhatsApp communication) constitutes a contract and, as such, can only be cancelled with 2 working days (Monday to Friday) written notice prior to the time that the transport is due to be dispatched or any other service that is to be provided by Transport-Able Logistics Limited is confirmed to commence.

If cancellation is requested within 2 working days of transport being dispatched or any other service being provided by Transport-Able Logistics Limited is confirmed to commence then the customer will be liable for any incurred costs above basic mileage rate for the cancelled piece of work.

All undertakings of work commence strictly from the point at which Transport-Able Logistics Limited dispatches transport to or from a destination.

All undertakings of work require a 10% deposit of the agreed quotation which is non-refundable after the point at which Transport-Able Logistics Limited dispatches transport to or from a destination.

Transport-Able Logistics Limited reserves the right to cancel any clients transport or other service being provided if the client does not pay the 10% deposit for the agreed quotation. Likewise until the deposit is paid on the agreed quotation, Transport-Able Logistics Limited reserve the right to provide other clients transport or other services in the same time period if the other clients deposit is received earlier.

The remaining balance of all invoices issued by Transport-Able Logistics Limited is due immediately upon delivery of clients vehicles, unless otherwise agreed using a specific contract. Mobile card payment is accepted to facilitate this where a bank transfer is not possible.

It is the clients responsibility to inform Transport-Able Logistics Limited of any extra preparation work required to transport the vehicle in question with 2 working days (Monday to Friday) written notice prior to the time that the transport is due to be despatched. Otherwise the client may be liable for any incurred costs or loss of business for Transport-Able Logistics Limited thereafter resulting from the delay in preparing their vehicle for transport.

All vehicles are covered throughout the UK and Europe by our fully comprehensive cover up to the value of £250,000 whilst in transit with increase of indemnity available up to £10,000,000 at an extra agreed cost, paid upfront by the client.

When Transport-Able Logistics Limited Employees are operating clients vehicles on the public road, vehicles are comprehensively insured up to £2,000,000.

It is the client or agents of the clients responsibility to ensure that the vehicle defect form completed by Transport-Able Logistics Limited before vehicle collection is consistent with the vehicles condition before signing the vehicle defect form to signify they are happy for the vehicle to be loaded and transported.

If the client is not present or there is no person willing to act as the clients agent upon vehicle collection to sign the vehicle defect from, Transport-Able Logistics Limited reserves the right to cancel the transport with no refund.

It is the clients or an agent of the clients responsibility to fully inspect the vehicle upon delivery that no extra damage has been obtained during the transport of the vehicle by Transport-Able Logistics Limited. This can be ensured using the vehicle defect sheet provided. A signature on the vehicle defect form from the receiving client or agent of the client provides agreement that the vehicle has not been damaged further during the transport of the vehicle by Transport-Able Logistics Limited.

Upon a signature on the vehicle defect sheet at delivery, the vehicle is no longer in the custody of Transport-Able Logistics Limited and as such Transport-Able Logistics Limited cannot take any responsibility for further damage after this point.

Transport-Able Logistics Limited reserve the right to amend or vary the terms of its business at any time subject to informing the client in writing before any services provided are carried out.
